I Just Don’t Know!

Whether you are in a happy mood or if you are a mess right now, I think that this song will replenish your spirit. Sometimes we just need to lay on our faces and just let God know what’s on our hearts. There will be days when you feel so close and tap into His beautiful presence ready for treasures to be unlocked. Other days, you will feel empty with no words to describe how you feel. No matter what you’re going through, God knows exactly what you’re going through. You don’t have to be angry just because you can’t describe how you feel just focus on Him. When you focus strictly on His presence, you find yourself praising and worshiping and trying to understand HOW you got there. This has happened to me so many times. I was so confused but excited because I knew that He knew what I was going through and sent His Holy Spirit to help me get to where I needed to be! My God is so awesome!!!

It Only Takes a Spark!

It’s New Year’s Eve and you may be out somewhere on your way home, hanging with friends and family, or you could be at home sitting behind a computer live streaming some services like me. No matter what you are doing right now I want you to please read this post with an open heart. I’ve seen a lot of people post about how bad this year has been, but I want you to know this. It only takes a spark! It only takes a spark for your life to turn right side up or upside down. Vulnerability does come in seasons in life, but also there are times when vulnerability must come to an end. Jesus is right there with a hand reaching out to you to say, “My friend, it only takes a spark, and I am the spark in your life. I am waiting to just light your life with my presence, love, and grace like never before!” I want you to know that it only takes a spark and that spark is Jesus!! Times will get tough in our life. Life will be hard. Seasons will come where things will not be in our favor, but we have to keep going and look up, look towards the sky, and look beyond the sky. Life is too short for you to sit and allow your feelings, your mind, and negativity to just drag you through the dirt. God has so many beautiful hidden treasures within the next year that you are not aware of right now, but believe me and you I’m telling you this with so much faith, favor, and love that you will be amazed how He will turn up and turn out in 2017! Take on the New Year with faith, favor, and a spark of happiness because you just don’t know what’s ahead. Life is too short. Come on get up, get moving, and look up for guidance and rely on Jesus Christ for that spark in your life. Happy New Year and God bless 🙂

Expecting the Unexpected

happy-birthday-jesus

As we come to closer to December 25th, I think about the beautiful nativity scenes that are displayed and the beautiful story of Mary and Joseph and how they traveled to Bethlehem. Most of all I think of the story that is written in the book of Luke and how it covers the life of Jesus. I then begin to think of the song, “Breath of Heaven” by Amy Grant and while listening to this song I am immediately reminded of Mary’s perspective as she traveled with Joseph and how hard that journey must have been. Then I fast forward and think about how it must have been such a beautiful journey to raise Jesus the Son of God. Think of that for a second, just being able to watch the Savior of the world grow up to save the world. Lastly, I begin to think about the end of his life, but the beginning of eternal life for all of us. As you can see I think of a lot. But that’s not all.

From there I start thinking of myself in comparison to how God chose Mary and Joseph for that particular role. We should use this as a reminder that God chose us for different experiences, to have different perspectives, lives, and to raise the children that He wants us to raise. I think of how we should look at how both Mary and Joseph did not expect that to happen until the time came when Gabriel came to both of them. Nowadays God comes to us in dreams, visions, or just by the sound of his voice reaching out to our heart to do something that we didn’t expect. So this Christmas, let’s not only remember this beautiful story of how Jesus was brought to this earth. I think that we should also focus on hearing the voice of God to ensure that we are fulfilling the purpose and the role that He wants us to play as we live our lives. And finally, as we go into the new year let’s think of how we are fulfilling this purpose and if not how to begin.

Oh My Sweet Anointed Child…

When times get tough or just when you need to hear this. Just listen and open your heart to the sweet voice of our God, creator, and Almighty Father. You are never alone. Your heart will forever stir to the sound of His voice, and to the sweet meditation of His word. Listen for your heart will forever melt. That’s where true love is #SpreadingGodsLoveOneHeartataTime #PureLove #HolySpirit #Psalm100 #Psalm91 #Stillpraying

Before you Begin your day, read this!

You are not alone. As you face the day ahead of you, remember that you are a child of the Most High King. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. There’s no need to fear because by the blood of Jesus and by the Almighty God you are protected. With love, his presence, and his Holy Spirit you are fully equipped to begin your day’s journey. All you need is the armor of God (pray). #Psalm91 #Stillpraying #Protected

For your darkest moments

Even during your most darkest days and moments in life just remember two things. One, nothing last forever. Darkness will eventually become light. That is exactly how God made it. Second, everything will be okay. It may not look like that now, but just keep that in the back of your mind. When things get hard, when you feel like giving up, when your back is against the wall, when the world condemns you, when you feel all alone, when you feel as though things will never ever get better, they will. Life can be hard. The devil may try to trick you into thinking that you cannot handle it. But the truth is…you can. God is right there looking after you, loving you, and will help you! Go to him, talk to him, give him everything and see how light your burden will be afterwards.

Praying for you!

God says, “I’m watching you.”

God says, “My precious child, I’m watching you. I constantly have my eyes on your every move. I see you when you cry yourself to sleep, I see you when you get frustrated and want to give up. I also hear you. I hear your prayers when you say a prayer for that ambulance that passed by you at a stop light. I feel your pain when you lost your loved one. I feel your anger when you see someone disrespect my name. And I hear your thoughts when that coworker disrespected you about that deadline. I know you. I feel you. I love you. I will never leave you. I sent my son Jesus just for you! All of those worldly emotions, situations, and circumstances are only for a season. When you come with me all of that will no longer exist. In the meantime, look for me, look to me, look beyond the sun my sweet child. You will find me. Call on the name of Jesus, my spirit will come running to you to fill your heart with peace. My presence will come to surround you. I will come to carry you through. My love will hug you. And I, I will never leave you my sweet child.”

Your Shepherd feels you!

Jesus states in John 10:27-28, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

The best part about being a Christ follower is hearing his voice. Even when the world tries to tell you what’s right and what’s wrong. Deep in your heart, the Holy Spirit will lead and guide you in the right direction. Confusion is nothing but the devil trying to trick you into doing wrong, but when the Holy Spirit tells you right, you will receive awesome confirmation.

The absolute greatest part is that in this world nothing can separate you from Jesus. Jesus died for all of us and his love is so great that nothing anyone in this world can say or do can separate us from our Shepherd. He is our leader, he knows us more than we know ourselves. He can feel our pain. He can feel our sorrows. And when we are up, he’s up with us. Jesus will never leave us. He is the one true shepherd that has and will always have the true and divine power over this world, his kingdom, love, and DEATH! Nothing can separate the sheep from their shepherd!

Mega Awesome!

When will enough be enough!?!

When will enough be enough! When will enough be enough for us to get on our knees and start praying? And I am not talking about the five year old lay me down to sleep prayers. I am talking about praying to the Almighty Jesus Christ to cover us in His blood to protect us and to change the hearts and minds of all of these people. When will enough be enough for us to get back into the churches asking for the Holy Spirit to sweep this nation and all nations to seek after Him. When will enough be enough where we run to His word for guidance and stand tall not being afraid. We are letting the devil make us flee. Our prayers and praise can easily make Him flee. Let’s start praying harder and constantly have our mind on Jesus. It’s when we take our minds off when the enemy comes to knock us off of our feet. We cannot be moved. We will not be moved. The devil will try but He can only do so much. We serve the Heavenly Father that created the world in six days. The devil cannot do that! We serve the Lord Jesus Christ that was so powerful that death could not even HOLD Him. Let’s tell the enemy that He can’t hold us. We need to pray, pray, and PRAY EVEN MORE!

God, I’m sick to my stomach!!!

Everyday there is some new crazy thing in the news. It seems like the news has become a place where the craziest things and stories are coming out. It’s to the point where you may feel like you are just sick to your stomach. Do you feel like crying out to God? Don’t you just want to say, “God, I’m sick to my stomach of everything around us.” Guess what? God wants us to feel this way. Why? Because we as Christians have to be sick to our stomach to pray harder and not stop. We will not stop! We will not stop. The devil is what’s making us sick to our stomachs. So it is up to us to desire the change in our lives and our homes and take back everything that he stole from us. But it starts when we fall on our faces and strike the grounds with our hands and declare change among the nations and everyone around us. It starts with prayer and the Holy Spirit interceding on our behalf and making way for us to lead the people to change. We will lead. There are too many remnants that have been quiet for too long. It’s time now for Heaven to release that change into our paths and make way for us to lead them to salvation and change for generations to come. They can’t hear God so we as Christians have to keep praying and interceding for them to find that. We want change right? It starts with prayer. We can’t move without the Holy Spirit leading and guiding us to do and say what God wants us to do and say. Are you sick to your stomach? Do you want to change? Tell God that you need Him and to lead and guide you through the tunnel of darkness to make way for you to share that light that He has put over your life! In Jesus Name Amen!
