Psalm 136- “God’s mercy endures for ever”
The value of endurance lies within the walls of “I can’t go on” and “I have to keep pushing through.” If we look in the bible endurance is one of the things that most everyone had to deal with. Moses dealt with endurance when he had to constantly go to Pharaoh to let the Israelites go as well as travelling with the Israelites as they complained and during the journey. Job is another person in the book who had to endure through physical, emotional, and spiritual pain as he lost his family members, a major part of his stock, and when he had gotten sick. Finally, Jesus is the true definition of endurance when he dealt with the persecution of others and when he died on the cross for all of our sins. He endured with the weight of the world on his shoulders as he endured through as the supernatural and divine power stepped in.
Endurance is something that everyone will face as we walk through life. Endurance doesn’t come when things are going well. Endurance is born when we are faced with the challenges of life and have to persevere. Even in our most darkest moments when we feel like giving up, even in our moments when we feel like it is so easy to just let go, that’s when endurance is born. Endurance is born when we feel the weight of the world, when sweat is dripping down our face, when tears are streaming down our cheeks, when we don’t feel like waking up, when pain becomes attached to us. Endurance is born when we are in the midst of the storm. We will have to endure during life because Jesus endured.
We should strive to be more like Jesus. He endured and He is the source of our strength so we can endure. I know you can you and most of all Jesus knows that you can too.
Even during your most darkest days and moments in life just remember two things. One, nothing last forever. Darkness will eventually become light. That is exactly how God made it. Second, everything will be okay. It may not look like that now, but just keep that in the back of your mind. When things get hard, when you feel like giving up, when your back is against the wall, when the world condemns you, when you feel all alone, when you feel as though things will never ever get better, they will. Life can be hard. The devil may try to trick you into thinking that you cannot handle it. But the truth is…you can. God is right there looking after you, loving you, and will help you! Go to him, talk to him, give him everything and see how light your burden will be afterwards.
Praying for you!
God says, “Let me shine my light through you!”
God is gathering His remnants to decree and declare His glory all over His territory. He is looking for warriors that are willing to proclaim the name of Jesus all over the earth, to every nation, and share His gospel through voice and appearance. Most people don’t realize that we have to be transparent for Him to really use us. We are like windows that can reach to the outside being transparent enough to connect Jesus to the world. We are the windows that can shine that light from the outside to the inside effecting anything within viewing perspective. We are those windows, but we have to be clear windows so the world can see. His remnants are people that will allow God to unwrap them of anything that He does not need for them to accelerate to the next level. After that is taken care of, He can then use them as the window to shine His light, glory, and presence for the world to see. This is the best part because you can convey His glory just by walking into a room. His light will shine through you. Jesus says in John 12:32 “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” Allowing Him to shine His light through you will allow others to be drawn to His presence. Lives can change and people can be saved just by showing God’s presence, love, and shining His light and glory everywhere you go without realizing it. Take the first step and surrender to Him! Let’s be transparent for the Almighty King!
Everyday there is some new crazy thing in the news. It seems like the news has become a place where the craziest things and stories are coming out. It’s to the point where you may feel like you are just sick to your stomach. Do you feel like crying out to God? Don’t you just want to say, “God, I’m sick to my stomach of everything around us.” Guess what? God wants us to feel this way. Why? Because we as Christians have to be sick to our stomach to pray harder and not stop. We will not stop! We will not stop. The devil is what’s making us sick to our stomachs. So it is up to us to desire the change in our lives and our homes and take back everything that he stole from us. But it starts when we fall on our faces and strike the grounds with our hands and declare change among the nations and everyone around us. It starts with prayer and the Holy Spirit interceding on our behalf and making way for us to lead the people to change. We will lead. There are too many remnants that have been quiet for too long. It’s time now for Heaven to release that change into our paths and make way for us to lead them to salvation and change for generations to come. They can’t hear God so we as Christians have to keep praying and interceding for them to find that. We want change right? It starts with prayer. We can’t move without the Holy Spirit leading and guiding us to do and say what God wants us to do and say. Are you sick to your stomach? Do you want to change? Tell God that you need Him and to lead and guide you through the tunnel of darkness to make way for you to share that light that He has put over your life! In Jesus Name Amen!
